Beyond
the Prairie II: The True Story of Laura Ingalls Wilder
to Air on the Lifetime Movie Network
Many fans have requested and asked that the Beyond the
Prairie movies starring Meredith Monroe would air again
on TV. This Thursday December 28, Beyond the Prairie II
will air on the Lifetime Movie Network. 7 PM Central

Literacy Luncheon in Palm Beach, Florida

keynote speaker at the 2007 Love Of Literacy Luncheon,
which benefits the Palm Beach County Literacy Coalition,

Turnbaugh gives birth
On November 27, 2006 Wendi Turnbaugh (NBC, Grace
Ingalls) gave birth to a healthy baby girl named Raegan
Grace weighing in at 8-4 and 20 3/4 long. Wendi told us,
"Yes the Grace is in honor of baby Grace as well as
God's amazing grace." Wendi also shared with us that she
and the baby are doing really great.

McCole Bartusiak makes short action film, Razor Sharp
Skye McCole Bartusiak (CBS, Rose Wilder) made an action
film, Razor Sharp, during the summer of 2005. The film
was directed by Marcus Perry. It is scheduled to
premiere on January 10, 2007 in Los Angeles, and is the
subject of an article in an upcoming volume of Script
magazine. The short was screened at the Wizardcon comic
book convention in Dallas, TX on Nov 11-12, 2006.

New Little House stars appear together as Grand Marshals
This past Saturday Little House stars Brian Part (NBC,
Carl Edwards), and Kyle Chavarria (Disney, Laura
Ingalls) appeared together as grand marshals at the
annual Frazier Park Festival of Fantasy of Lights held
in Frazier Park, California. Kyle told Prairie Fans,
"Brian and Melody are the most fun and energetic couple
I know! I felt like I've know them my whole life and now
we've adopted each other and I have a new aunt and
uncle."
Brian had the following to say about Kyle, "Kyle and her
mother are two of the most beautiful people I have ever
met and our friendship will continue for a long, long
time especially since we have a new adopted niece,

House on the Prairie of Yesterday and Today
This December 2nd, Little House stars of the past and
today, Brian Part (NBC, Carl Edwards) and Kyle Chavarria
(Disney, Laura Ingalls) will be appearing together as
grand marshals in the annual Frazier Park Festival of

Melissa Gilbert Voted Board President of Children’s
Hospice Coalition
Melissa Gilbert (NBC, Laura Ingalls Wilder), the award
winning actor, director, producer, and former president
of the Screen Actor’s Guild, has been elected board
president of the Children’s Hospice Coalition (www.childrenshospice.org),
a nonprofit organization that works to expand hospice
and palliative care services to children who are
suffering from life-threatening conditions. Melissa
Gilbert has been actively involved as a board member of
the organization since 2004.

Catching
up with Pamela Roylance
We recently caught up with Pamela Roylance (NBC, Sarah
Carter) who had several new projects to share with us.
Pamela just finished playing the recurring role of Judge
Jane Peechum in her second episode of JUSTICE.
Jane Seymour (Dr. Quinn Medicine Woman) was the guest
star. Pamela said she was delightful to work with, as
was the rest of the cast. This episode should air in
about a month.
Pamela is also in the October issue of Reader's Digest in a Nexium, (the little purple pill) ad. She thinks it's also in the Oct or Nov issue of Food and Wine, from what someone told her. And finally, Pamela's Purina Cat Chow commercial continues to run, and Isn't sure of the status of her Enablex spot that she did awhile back. It ran for 13 weeks, and she believes its now on hold.
Pamela has been enjoying
teaching drama to Pre-kindergarten kids, and Yoga and
Mat Pilates at the gym. Pamela still teaches corporate
seminars and gives motivational speeches whenever she
can.

Gilbert celebrates Dine With Your Dog Day this weekend
It's "Dine With Your Dog Day" in some states this
weekend, but celebration is open to interpretation.
"Desperate Housewives" actress Nicollette Sheridan and
"Exorcist" head-turner Linda Blair were supposed to eat
dog food during a promotional event in Los Angeles.
"This is not 'Fear Factor,' " Sheridan said Thursday,
balking at the idea.
Blair also declined, explaining
she's a vegetarian. But Melissa Gilbert (NBC, Laura
Ingalls Wilder) and Ross the Intern from Jay Leno's
"Tonight" show were game and scooped up helpings of

Chavarria aka Laura Ingalls stops by Independence Kansas
This past weekend Kyle Chavarria (Disney, Laura Ingalls)
made a public appearance at the 2006 Blue Grass on the
Prairie festival in Independence Kansas, the birthplace
of Carrie Ingalls. Kyle talked about her role as Laura
Ingalls in the Disney Mini-series and signed and greeted
her fans. Kyle also made front page news in the town's

called Mixed Blessings. Mixed Blessings is a comedy

"Nip/Tuck" is a series that just keeps getting hotter
and hotter. With the fourth season set to debut in a few
weeks, FX (the show's network) announced this week that
the series has locked in several guest stars for the new
season. One of the guest stars is our very own Melissa

Miss Beadle visits South Dakota
Charlotte Stewart (NBC, Miss Beadle) recently returned
from a wonderful art festival in Keystone, South Dakota
where Little House fans abound! Everyone was so
welcoming to her she said in the town where Carrie
Ingalls lived and ran the local printing press.
Charlotte was a guest at Mount Rushmore and at the Chief

Pamela Roylance (NBC, Sarah Carter) just booked a Toyota commercial
and will be shooting it this weekend. Pamela also played
Judge Peecham in a Jerry Bruckheimer pilot for FOX
called "American Crime." Dates and times TBA. Pamela
will also be in a Nexium print ad scheduled to appear in
all the big magazines in June of 2006.

Life and Times of Laura Ingalls Wilder
February 25, 26, 2005 (additional dates in March and
April)
Sharon Cullers and her daughter will be hosting "The
Life and Times of Laura Ingalls Wilder" at Pioneer
Arizona Living History Village. For students the cost is
$20.00 per student ages 6 - 16 years old. Parents
accompanying students can see the events and visit the
grounds for $5.00, children under 6 free. This student
program runs from 8:30am - 3:30pm and includes: School
time in the 1880's one room school house, observing the
Blacksmith in the rustic Blacksmith Shop, picnic lunch
and the Virginia Reel on the Village Green (bring your
own lunch in a pail or basket), candle making, churn

Melissa Sue Anderson to
star in 10.5 Apocalypse this Spring
Earlier this year, Prairie Fans reported that Melissa Sue Anderson will be
having a role in NBC's 10.5 Apocalypse. We have learned that filming was
delayed due to recent disasters in the United States. 10.5 Apocalypse is
now in post production and is set to be release on NBC sometime in early
