| HI,KYLE! My name is Tom. I'm the first post under your and your brothers' picture on the "Recent Photo of Kyle Chavarria---" thread. I got a question, please. Do you, Chase, and Connor ever help each other at home in rehearsing lines and scenes, or is that a no-no? Some directors may not like that. Or, does Mom help? You sure do PROFESSIONAL work. And, thank you!

Thank you for all the nice things you said about us.Sometimes we do practice our lines together, especially when we are in the car running to an audition and there is no time to study before. My brothers are actors too and they think they know it all!

| Hey Kyle,
I have a question for you. I saw your performance in "Little House", as well as on Gilmore Girls and Ghost Whisperer. Very good work.
Can you tell us a little about your role in the upcoming film, "Saving Shiloh"? What was it like making this film? and was this film more of a challenge than any of your other roles in other shows so far?
I appreciate you taking the time to answer questions for us.
Thanks,
JayG

How's it going? Thanks for watching me on those few things. Want to know something? Where they shot my soccer scene for Gilmore Girls is the same field where the plane was crashed on the Ghost Whisperer! It was so wierd to see how different they made it look!
My role on Saving Shiloh is Dara Lynn who is Marty's younger sister who is a real pain! I have some fun scenes in it where I falll off a bridge. I guess you can say this role was not a stretch since I am a younger sister. I hope you see this fun movie! Thanks, Kyle

I loved your portrayal of Laura!!! Did you read the books as a child and/or watch the NBC TV version of LHOTP? I loved the 'wonderment' in your eyes, just as I would imagine Laura as she traveled across the vast prairie with her family.
I saw Ghost Whisperer as well, and you did a great job....
GOOD LUCK!

That is so cool that you are such an avid soccer fan. I have 2 nieces, ages 12 and 17 who are big time soccer players. My youngest niece (age 12) wants to play soccer professional someday. She has been out for this season because she broke her leg during a game, but she plans to play this coming fall season.
Let us know how your game this weekend went. Hope you guys kicked butt.
Talk to you later.

I'm sorry to hear about your niece having to sit out for her broken leg but I had to sit out for 6 months a few years back since I ruptured my spleen! Being a tomboy is tough! I actually went off a cliff on my cousins' bike in Washington state. I couldn't play at recess or PE! Please tell your niece that I hope the time passes quickly and she'll be on the field soon.
My mom says thanks for wishing her a nice Mother's Day...we spent it at the beach with Bubba, he's not a water dog. I have to show you his picture we took today!

| Hey Kyle,
I totally agree with Lennon, in that your role on Little House was excellent. You may or may not know, but I fought very hard in helping not only the series but your work along with the other cast members.
I spent countless hours in building the first little house fans website, hosting a petition drive in support of the series, talking with producers and with ABC. Like so many of us, I wanted this show as a regular series. Unfortunaltely, we all know what happened in it not being picked up. It is a shame, but it may also have worked out for the better in other aspects.
Since Little House, all of the other cast members, including yourself have had the chance to work on other great projects. You recently has the Shiloh project as well as the guest starring roles in other shows. Dani has done a few other projects and her latest project "Last Of The Mustangs" should be out soon. Erin has worked with Michael Landon JR in "Love's Long Journey" and is currently filming "Love's Abiding Joy".
You are a terrific person as well as an actress. You, along with your mother, Kim have taken time from your busy schedule to join us here on Priarie Talk to answer our questions and just be a part of our community.
As most of us do, we are all behind you 110% in any project that you may be a part of. It is only a matter of time before you become one of the top actresses in the business. Until that day comes, keep your head up high. You deserve the best in this business and I, along with Lennon and everyone else believe in you.
No, you may not be Melissa Gilbert, but in my own personal opinion, I feel you played the "Laura" role the way Laura Ingalls herself would have been. Thanks for being a part of the series and for helping reinstate the morals and values of what family is all about.

| Brenda,
Playing a historical figure is so neat since I get to wear the clothes of that time, see what kids my age did for fun and what it was like at that time.
There are things I am grateful for that we have now but I also miss the simplicity of the old days. I feel that I get to experience both worlds.
As far as soccer, Bend It Like Beckham is one of my favorites. There aren't too many movies with girl soccer players. I also like Ladybugs with Rodney Dangerfield. My brother Connor ususally comes to my practices and we tease him that he should sport a wig and help our team out, he's a good player. ( I think he comes for the girls though).

Just wanted pass on a message from niece, Kristen. I told her what you said in the earlier post about soccer and she thought it was cool that an actress her own age also plays soccer. I bought her a copy of the Little House DVD and she recognized you from that episode of Gilmore Girls (that is one of her favorite shows).
Anyway, she gets her cast off next week and is looking forward to getting back on the field next season. She said it would really be cool if she could play a game against your team.. but Texas and California teams rarely play each other... but it was just a thought she had.
Well, take it easy and I will hear from you guys next time around.

| You are the first person to ask me what my screen name means and it does mean something. Meerkats are kind of like African squirrels. They are very protective of one another. Here is a piccie of them.

My mom's family is very protective of one another so we decided to call them meerkats. There daughters and sons (as I am along with my cousins) meerkins and sons and daughters of meerkins, meerkittens. Hope this explains.
By the way, I have a question to ask you. I pronounce the last part of you last name as "ra" although there is an "i" stuck in between. Is it "ra" or "ria"?

| Kyle, you are a very talented young lady and I was so touched by your performance as Laura Ingalls. You have a lot of talent and I look forward to watching more of your work as an actress.
My daughter and my grandchildren loved your performance as Laura Ingalls too! You played Laura like nobody else ever did, you played her with heart and it shows.

Bertha Beth Joseph? I hear you have kids? YES, EM'! I have 7 and I have the gray hair to show! I love all my kids and wouldn't change it. BB |

| Summer school...blech! I had to go when I was little, only it wasn't because I was a smart, talented young actress. It was cuz I got in a fight with some kid who stole my Twinkie. I probably would have let him off if he'd let me have his Little Debbie Oatmeal Cream Pie, but NO, he wanted both.
Have fun in school, and always know the location of your Twinkies, but if someone steals it, turn the other cheek....I'd hate to see you end up a rebel like me!

Just wanted to say hello again, and hope all is going well with you and your family. I never seem to have any questions to ask anymore, maybe that is because I fell asleep when I was in summer school.
Take care and guard those skittles.

| Boy, I hope this question hasn't been asked before, but I read Lennon's interview with you, about how you started in the business through a Toyota commercial you were "dragged" along to with your brothers.lol Had you wanted to be an actress before that?
On a lighter note, when you catch your brothers doing something they're not supposed to do, do you tell on them right away, or give them a chance to bribe you? My kid sister used to catch me doing stuff I wasn't supposed to be doing all the time, but if I bribed her, she wouldn't rat on me. Is that unique, or do all of you kid sisters operate that way? You can decline to answer if one of your brothers still owes you, and hasn't paid up yet.

| Hey Flatbroke4ever,
what's your real name? To answer your questions about if I ever wanted to be an actor the answer is NO. I love to play soccer and that's it. I always have fun once I'm on set but the process of getting there is a pain in the butt! I guess all little sisters are alike and yours sounds very funny. I usually yell for my mom that Chase and Connor are up to no good and then I get beat up by them We're a very close family but we still fight A LOT.
Stay cool in this summer heat and tell your sister hi.

Thank you for answering Miss Chavarria. My real name is Larry Bradford, and my "kid" sister is 21 now, but she's still a pain in the butt! lol
And I just wanna say that you do a great job of being an actress for someone who didn't want to be one to begin with. You have a lot to be proud of.
There are a few members here in your age group, and I'm gonna spread the word, so you'll have someone your age to reply to. I'd love to see their questions to a young lady like yourself. They would ask the stuff we adults wouldn't think of!

Thanks for watching Saving Shiloh, that was a fun movie to make but no where near my Little House experience. I was wearing a retainer that I've had for a long time now. I'll get braces onceI loose all my baby teeth. I had a retainer when working on LH and one time I lost it and the crew had to look for it and it was on the wagon. Catch you later!

Alot of hard work is in the place from a team of people to make this all happen. If you ever thought about making a trip to Kansas to see the Cabin site of the Ingalls Family, now would be the time to do it. We hope to see you all there.

I'm glad that your braces aren't giving you a lot of trouble. My brother Connor finally stopped complaining about his! To answer your question about my riding with Cameron, that was all me until crossing the water and then it was a stunt double. The wolves were very real and we were not allowed to go near them. It was an exciting scene! Talk to you later.

Unfortunately, there will be no new LH, that was decided a long time ago .
As far as wearing those dresses it was fun except for changing the wet wool socks every few hours, it seemed they always shrunk a little bit.
Yes, Dani and I still see eachother at auditions but don't get together since she lives in Utah and I live in California.
