| I've just finshed watching "I do, again", season 7 and I must say that I haven't cried like this for such a long time. In my opinion Karen Grassles performance in this episode was outstanding, the best from the entire series. This is one of the few times we have seen Caroline so vulnerable. And how sad I felt for Charles when Doc told him that Caroline was never really pregnant. Such a great episode.
Anyway, I guess my question to you all is; is there a particular episode that just grabs you deep down and turns you into an emotional wreck (for at least 45 minutes anyway)? Which episode do you consider to be the most emotional to you?

| There are several that tear me up, but I will only list a few...
When Charles Frederick dies and Ma and Pa are reciting Psalms 23.
When Charles is excited about a letter from his folks only to find that his Mother has died. (this one REALLY rips me apart, ML was SO good portraying his grief)
When Caroline is excited that her folks have arrived, only to find a pine box in the back of the wagon with her Mother in it, for she had passed away in route there. (KG was WONDERFUL with this when she walked to the back calling "Mama, Mama"
When Mary goes blind and screams from the loft, "I can't see, I can't see, help me Pa!"
When Pa makes Laura realize and admit that Albert IS dying and she has to accept that and let him do what he wants to do, and when her and Albert climb to the top of the hill and clasp hands...(this REALLY tears me apart for quite some time)
That's all for now....

| Welcome back, I Love Almanzo!
Yes, there is an episode that leaves me crying a bucket of tears after every viewing. It is "Uncle Jed", Season 8. Watching the courtroom scene where Uncle Jed is fighting the Ingalls for custody of James and Cassandra is so heartwrenching for me.
Especially poignant moments are when the children are asked by the judge,"Who would they like to live with?" while the Ingalls and Uncle Jed are present. Also when Cassandra runs out of the courtroom crying after the judge makes his decision.
Michael Landon, Karen Grassle and Missy Francis were dynamic in this episode.
Charles: I pray and I pray...why doesn't God listen? Reverend Alden: He
listens, Charles. He doesn't always answer in the way that we want, but in a way He thinks is best for each of us. |

| I cry everytime I see Laura on top of Jonathan's mountain after Jonathan tells her to "go to him child". She sees her father and cries "Pa" I only need to see that small bit and the tears come.
I think that Melissa Sue did a great job acting in the episode where she is sick after getting hurt from the horse.
I also find the eipsode "The Lost Ones" moving after James' and Cassandra's parents are killed. Little Cassandra is so cute and her big eyes get me every time.
Every time Charles helps a child and then has to let them go is tearful too. The two that come to mind as I write this are Solomon and Peter, the Olsens nephew. Little House is such a great show because of these emotional moments. They are family moments and I feel like I am a part of the Walnut Grove family each time I sit down to visit with them.

| OldDanTuckerGal thanks for the welcome back.
All of these were quite touching episodes. I just thought of another one that always starts the water works; "At the end of the rainbow". It was so sweet how Laura wanted to do so much for her family with the "gold" money; and when she found out it wasn't really gold, it was so heartwrenching.

| Tear jerkers for me are: "I'll Be Waving As You Drive Away", "The Lord is My Sheperd", "The Last Farwell", "Remember Me", "May We Make Them Proud" and "A Child with no Name."

| I agree with all of you. All the best sad parts are wrote down by you. Especially the scene at the end from the Lord is My Shepard.
A scene that I can really cry about is at the end of Fagin, Where Laura sais: I like to accept this award for my brother, Albert.
And then Albert starts to cry and walks up to Laura and then they see each other and they embrace. That is such a touching scene!! Also when Charles sais: That are my kids! My kids!

| bethandmanly, you reminded me of one that I can't beleive I forgot to mention. In 'Remember Me', there are a quite a few parts that get to me, the first one being when the Widow Sanderson tells Charles (who is working in her field) that she is dying, and he starts to tear up and she tells him, now don't you go crying for me......The main reason I have a hard time with this episode is because I have been through cancer twice, the first time when my own three children were small and I had to think ahead of what needed to be done to provide for them. My heart skips a beat everytime the Widow Sanderson is talking to Charles and then to her kids. Another scene is when she gets up in front of the congregation telling them that she doesn't have much longer there and she needs someone to take her children and not to make a hasty decision, because it takes a lot to raise three children. The way the children just stand there next to her and they are SO very brave, and one more, then I will hush up...When Alicia is being adopted out and seperated from her brothers and they are sitting in church, and she reaches over and takes Edwards big old hand in hers....

| My heart breaks for Caroline when she learns she's not pregnant and can never have anymore children and for Charles when he learns the truth.I thought is romantic when Charles proposed again.

| The list is way too long for me. Honestly...there are very few episodes that I can watch that won't bring a tear to my eyes.
I agree with Look Back to Yesterday....very, very tough to watch with a dry eye. When Laura and Albert reach the top of the hill and clasp hands and the rest of the children forms a circle around them and join hands.....My throat just tightens and my eyes tear up!

| May We Make Them Proud. It's heart wrenching watching Alice breaking the window and cry out for help and Adam is determined to go get her and the baby and Hester Sue holds him back and says it's too late.Another one where Charles learns Albert is dying from a blood disease and he forces Laura to admit it.Another one is where the citizens learns that the town has been taken over and they decide to blow up the buildings so Mr.Lassiter won't be able to run their businesses.
