Bouncing through the dunes, in
an armoured H-um-vee,
Down the road he goes,
avoiding I.E.D.`s.
I`d rather he were home,
wrapping gifts with me.
If he were home this Christmas time,
how happy we would be!
(Chorus)
Afghanistan, Pakistan, Iraq. or Kosovo,
How great to have our troops come home,
we want the world to know!
I need help with this tree,
I need a hug or two,
I sure do have a yen to plant a kiss on you.
So hurry home to us,
our troops in every land,
to spend Christmas here with us,
instead of in the sand.

| I loved that Brenda!! I sang it out loud so everyone could hear it.LOL  The family loved it. I am going to pass it on to Michael and his cousin in Afghanistan, and my oldest son's friend in Iraq. They will enjoy it. Thanks for posting this. Merry Christmas!!!

| Your welcome! I`m glad you all enjoy it. They had this special piece in the paper on Christmas Eve where people around here rewrote Christmas songs that is where I got this.
I hope you all had a Merry Christmas too!
