| Former President Gerald Ford, who became president in 1974 after the resignation of Richard Nixon, died Tuesday at age 93. Former first lady Betty Ford, who made the announcement, did not say where he died or give a cause of death.
EDIT: I posted this last night shortly after the news broke, we now know that he died at his home in California at 6:45pm PT.

| Here is the story for anyone interested. He was a very unique man, in that, he accidently came into being the Vice President and then accidently becoming the President. He will be missed. My condolences to his family.

| I heard this late last night. My deepest sympathy to his loved ones. I used to watch his son (Stephen) played on The Young And The Restless in the 80's.

that i was familiar with.
i remember watching as he
first took office.
it wasn't till much later
that i learned that he wasn't
the first president.lol
