Movie Continuity

I just watched the LH mini series tonight and I noticed a couple goofs.

1. It should have been Charles parents in the movie and not Carolines because shortly after she and Charles married they left Concord Wis. and headed to Pepin - leaving Carolines parents behind. Laura never met her Grandma and Grandpa Hollbrook.

2. They acted like aunt Docie was Carolines sister but in reality she was Charles younger sister and Henry was Charles brother in the movie but in reality he was Carolines older brother.

Other then those couple of things I loved the mini series. I wish it would have been turned into a series :)

I noticed these to. Did they do it on purpose to make it special when the mom gave Caroline the Statue. Or was it a mistake?

yeah i oticed but i still LOVE IT!!! In the movie the editor didn't do such a good job during one of the episodes when Laura goes on the indian path if you look at the bottom of the screen her dress is red but then when they show her fully its green??? Anyway I still think its great!!!!

Maybe the writers of the mini series wanted to be different or something. I don't know if the stuff was done on purpose or by mistake. Like you said maybe they wanted it to be Carolines parents because of the small china shepherdess. I'm not really sure though. There are most likely other goofs in the movie like Laura's dress being red one minute and green the next.

I'll have to re-watch it to see if I can catch more goofs. For some reason I am good at picking out, out of place things in movies. Like the Love Comes Softly movie series for instance - in Love's Long Journey Missie's necklace is silver but in the other three movies the necklace is gold. I know that sounds odd but I always notice stuff like that :)

I love the movies but I do think its fun to pick them out. I never noticed that in the Love comes softly series.
