| I just got my DVD of the film "Saving Sarah Cain", and it is an excellent movie.
The film gives us a brief look into the world of the lifestyle of the Amish people, and how they are able to make more of life with less than what most of us could ever imagine.
Directed by Michael Landon Jr., "Saving Sarah Cain" is a wonderful, heart warming film about a young successful woman who is forced to take in her 5 nieces and nephews after the death of her sister. 'Sarah' moves the children to Portland, Oregon in hopes of the Amish kids being able to adapt to life in the big city, but this only leads to lies and deception between Sarah and the kids, and between the kids themselves. In the end, Sarah takes the kids back to their homes in Amish country and ends up making the old world a part of her new life.
Danielle Chuchran (Mary Ingalls- ABC LHOP) does a superb job in her role as Annie Mae, and you will clearly see she has grown into quite a young woman.
I reccomend this film to anyone who likes a film that touches the heart.

| These are great pictures. Looking at them just made me more excited to see the movie. I am saving it for my moms birthday this week. She is going to be coming over and we are all going to watch it together. I was glad to hear that so many people liked it.

| I have a book sitting here from the library titled the Redemmption of sarah Cain. Now the movie and this book must be related. I am currently reading the Shunning series by Beverly Lewis. Also about the Amish.

| I just finished reading The Redemption of Sarah Cain and had to go out and get the movie. Beth were great.
At first I couldn't figure out which one was Danielle. I didn't think she was old enought to have played Lydia. I think she did a great job. She sure was pretty when she was dressed up in English clothes sitting in the bleachers.
Great job Dani.

| I've seen this in the video store, but didn't realise it was directed by ML Jnr. I've been back again to borrow it - and it's been removed from the shelves - to make room for new movies, so I'll probably have to put it on my next birthday or Christmas list. If ML's direction is anything to go by, ML Jnr's work should be excellent.

| Darn... I was watching the Lifetime channel this weekend and only caught the last half hour of this movie. When I saw Danielle Chuchran I thought oh shoots...... it looks like a very good movie showing the differences between being raised Amish versus Christian. I definitely gotta keep my eys appealed for it again. I just wanted to give everyone the heads up to keep an eye on "The Lifetime" movie channel listings.
