| As a tribute to the Greenbush Twins I think it is fun to tell what your favourite Carrie Little House moment is and why?
For me it is in the episode: Christmas at Plum Creek.
Carrie looks up to the star on top of the christmastree and says: Happy Birthday Baby Jesus!!!
I have to sniff everytime I see that , it is SO cute!!

| My favorite Carrie Ingalls moment came in the episode, "Meet Me At The Fair." All poor Carrie wanted to to do was to ride on the carousel and everyone was so caught up in their own activities, she never got to go. She wanders away and falls asleep in a hot air balloon. Mary's beau, angry and jealous that his boss is "stealing" Mary, he cuts the cords on the hot air balloon not knowing little Carrie is in there. She wakes up and starts waving to everyone completely unaware of any danger. Too cute!!!!

| The Pilot is actually my favorite Carrie episode. But the scene I love best is when Charles is rocking her in Caroline's rocking chair and asking her if she wants some turkey. In the next few moments, the door swings open and a very frozen Mr. Edwards walks inside. Charles puts Carrie in the rocking chair to go help Isaiah and she calls Mr. Edwards Santa. Too cute!

My top three would have to be...
1. Oh Damn at the dinner table. Carrie was the only member of the cast to ever use such language on the show. Go Carrie!
2. Happy Birthday Baby Jesus. Such a cute moment...
3. Carrie sees Jack in heaven.

| I also love the moment in Ma's Holiday when Carrie is shaking the tale of the rattlesnake And the part where she cries, and Edwards says: Are you hungry? and she says: Yes. She was really crying there! I bed she did something bad or something before they shot the scene.
I also love the moment in Christmas at Plum Creek when she is talking with Charles in the middle of the night in front of the fireplace about santaclaus that he will get burned up if he used the chimney

I also like the scene in "If I Should Wake Before I Die" where Caroline has gone to talk the old woman out of pretending to die and Charles is pacing back and forth next to the wagon and Carrie is inside the wagon with her hands behind her back pacing right along with him...TOO cute!!! I like her scenes with Michael Landon in the pilot movie too....She was such a cutie.....

| Okay, I'll admit it. There were so many HILARIOUS Carrie moments that always added comic relief to episodes, especially in the early seasons. Though one of my favorites would have to be in "Ma's Holiday" which was the scene where Carrie got nailed to the roof by that crazy Mr.Edwards! She looked like she was deeply enjoying herself instead of freaking out :::chuckling to self:::! And "Oh Damn!" was just a howler! For some reason, I just felt like I wanted to give Carrie a high-five at that moment! Though what would have to be the all time best moment with Carrie would have to be: da da da dum! ( Hint, hint: No one ever mentioned this one, though it was on Carol's Smile video, and it just blew me away as a pure LHotP "classic"! ) In "A Harvest of Friends" when Carrie and the girls were running down a hill at the picnic and Carrie's underwear ooops, fell down! I see London, I see France, I see Carrie's underpants!!!ROLF I always thought that Laura should've said that at that moment!

Well Reverand Alden will say to the congregation (for example) lets all sing "Bringing in the Sheaves". | One of my ultimate Carrie moment is a sad moment, it gets me every time I watch it. In the Little House The Pilot scene, there was a prairie fire, Caroline put Carrie down in the pond and went with the rest to put out the fire. Carrie was sitting there crying with smoke all around here, every time I watch this scene, I just want to reach in my TV and scoop her up and hold her close.

| When Albert is making the doghouse in the barn, he talks to Bandit who is lying in front of him. Then Carrie walks in and says that supper is ready. She asks: Who were you talking too? And then Albert says: Nobody here except for Bandit.
Carrie: Bandit can't talk he is a dog.
Albert: He talks to me (Albert leaves the barn)
Carrie looks at Bandit and says: Hello?....Say Hello!... Allright then I won't talk to you either!
This scene is so funny

Do you guys remember In Season 1, Survival, Charles went to hunt for their food, Caroline was entertaining the girls while waiting for the return of Charles, they were playing Simon Says, then Carrie lost by missed her cue, Laura said: "Awww Carrie, Ma didn't say Simon says." Carrie said: "But Ma did." I thought it was just too cute!

Carrie: Albert, I hear an animal growling.
Albert: It's not an animal growling, Carrie.
Carrie: Then what is it?!
Albert: It's your sister.
Another one is in "Fagin" after Albert runs away.
Carrie: When is Albert coming home?
Ma: Doesn't look like tonight, darlin'.
Carrie: But we were gonna pick berries tomorrow, he promised.
Ma: Carrie, sometimes people can't help breaking their promises.

| I just watched the Creeper of Walnut Grove and there is definitely another favourite Carrie moment in that one. Laura, Andy, Nellie and Willie just attacked Mrs. Oleson, because they thought she was the creeper. Then the scene cuts to the inside of the Ingalls house and we see Caroline, Mary, Laura & Carrie. Outside you hear Charles thanking Nels for bringing Laura home. Then Charles walks in, he is in a bad mood and faces Laura and the rest:
Charles: "Allright, now we're going to have a few new rules around here! Nobody goes out at night, NOBODY, unless you have to go to the outhouse and you DARN well better have to go!!" Then Carrie walks forward to her dad, arms acrossed her back.
Carrie: "Pa"
Charles: "Yeah".
Carrie: "I have to go!"
Charles: "Allright go, go on"
I immediatley thought of this topic when I saw this. I laughed so hard, that was so funny

| Since Carrie has always been my favourite, I have A LOT of favourite Carrie moments
Some of them are :
- Carrie awake at night worrying about Santa getting burned in the chimney ("If santa comes down the chimney...he'll get all burned up!") (Christmas at Plum Creek)
- Carrie putting up the star in the tree ("Happy Birthday Baby Jesus!") (Christmas at Plum Creek)
- Carrie wanting to be a detective like Laura and Andy, and then finally agrees to be a spy - and goes around spying on people! (The Creeper of Walnut Grove)
- After being told by Mr. Kendall that wine needs to breathe, Carrie looks at the bottle for a while and says "Mr. Kendall, it's not breathing. I think it's dead!" (The Sound of Children)
- Trying to convince Pa that it's Christmas morning, and finally loosing her patience with him and points at the window in the loft "Pa, look!!". (A Christmas They Never Forgot)
- When Laura is watching her, and she is trying to run away from here (The Pride of Walnut Grove)
- When she takes Tom the turkey for a walk (Journey in the Spring)
- Eating all the raspberries as fast as she is picking them! (Quarantine)
- When she notices that her eggs have hatched (I'm a mommy!) (A Most Precious Gift)
+ Pretty much every Carrie scene in "Little Girl Lost", "The Godsister" and "Ma's Holiday"

-Carrie buying the star for baby Jesus
-Walking Tom the turkey
-When she thinks that something is moving under the covers, but it's only her feet! Later she sees it again and it turns out to be Jack.
-In the episode "Quarantine", when Carrie heard Caroline crying in the middle of the night, she went over to her Ma and comforted her.

| I absolutely love the scene in "Christmas at Plum Creek" where 2-year-old Carrie wanted that star in the mercantile, and it cost 5 cents, and she only had a penny, but Nels gave it to her for the penny. I love how that star had such significance to Carrie, even years later, in Season 8's "A Christmas They Never Forgot."
And remember the pilot episode, where it started snowing in Kansas and Mary was holding Carrie, and Carrie had her mouth completely open in shock and excitement? So funny.

| Also, you gotta love Season 3's "Quarantine," when Ma was crying alone in bed, and Carrie came to stroke her hair and comfort her. That was just a really great scene, and the Greenbush twin who played Carrie got it just right. It can be really confusing and scary for kids when they see a parent in tears, and that really came across with this scene. Carrie was especially adorable at that age, around Season 3.
