Hi I'm Lotty this my 1st Little House fan fic. I'm only 13 and spelling's my worst subject so please excuse my horendous spelling erros and misallanious type-o's. I'd Love to hear what you think comments are greatly appriciated thx and hope u enjoy!!!




Based On Season 2

It was a beautiful day the sky was clear and blue and the sunshine was glistining on the Prairie grass. Laura and Mary were just getting up for school. "Hey Half Pint, Mary sleep well?" Charles cheerfully asked his daughters. Caroline dished out eggs for breakfast. "Pa can I go fishing after school 2day if I finish my chores?" Laura anxiously asked. " I suppose so if you finish your homework to" Charles agreed. "Thanks Pa" Laura smiled. "Caroline I'm off see ya at supper." called Charles as he waved goodbye. As Charles walked to the mill Mrs. Edwards called out to him "Mr. Ingalls do you have a minute a letter aravied for you today." Grace explained. Charles opened the letter it read:
Dear, Charles, Caroline,Mary, Laura, and Carrie,
We are having our annual Easter dance again this year. We know Minnasota is far away but we do hope you all could make it. It's been so long everyone misses you! hoping to see you there.
Love,
Brian and Linda

Charles knew it had been at least 4 yrs. and was considering attending the dance this year.

Ch. 2

As Laura and Mary were walking to skool Nellie and Willie stopped them. "My mother is ordering me a brand new dress imported all the way from France." bragged Nellie. "That's very nice, Nellie." said Mary politely trying to avoid her obnoxious behavior. "I'll bet you've never even had a store boughten dress let alone an imported one." Nellie snobbily commented. "My Ma makes better dresses than some dumb old imported dress any old day Nellie!" Laura defended. Mary kept tugging on Laura's sleeve to get her away before she got into a fight. But Laura just pushed her away. "That's dumb." Willie stepped in. Be Quiet , Willie" said Laura as she shoved him to the ground. Nellie was about to snobbily comment on another subject but the schoolbell rang and everyone had to go inside. After school Laura finished her homework and Chores as she was instructed then she went fishing and was home in time 4 supper. " We got a letter today" said Charles. "Really, from who?" quistioned Caroline curiously. " Linda and Brian, inviting us to go to they're Easter dance, again.: Charles answered. " Oh I know its a long way but I do wish we could go" Caroline hinted. "Oh could we Pa just this once!" Laura pleaded. " Well half-Pint I was thinking about going and I just wanted to see if you all were up for it" Charles teased "Oh thank you Pa!" Laura happily exclaimed. "Ma can we wear our Sunday dresses " asked Mary "Of course" Caroline agreed. " I wanna go party too Papa" yelped Carrie in an unclear voice. " But what about Jack Pa" asked Laura " I see no reason why Jack can't come along your Uncle Brian always liked dogs." Charles reminded in Laura's favor. " Alright now off to bed with ya" called Charles. as he kissed his girls goodnight. " Charles, do you think it would be alright if the girls got new dresses?" suggested Caroline. "I suppose so as soon as I get my paycheck from this next shipping order." Charles agreed "Good." exclaimed Caroline. "What about you?" asked Charles. " Don't be silly, Charles I Don't need a new dress my Sunday one is perfectly fine. Besides we don't have the money to scwandel on a senseless dress for me." Caroline insisted. "But we do have the $ for 3 dresses." laughed Charles. "Charles." Caroline cried out knowing he had proven a point and stumped her. " Alright I'll get myself a dress as well!" Caroline gave in. "Good" said Charles.
