| Hello all! I just found this website and am loving all the fan fiction! I have been a long time fan of the LHOTP books and tv series and a few weeks ago, found "The Wilder Life" at the library which prompted a rereading of the original series. So now I am on a kick of all LIW "stuff". I am so excited to have found this website, especially the fan fiction. Is anyone still writing here or elswhere? Thanks! Melissa

| Welcome, Melissa. It's great to have you here. I am a writer by trade, so you'll find many of my stories here and at fanfiction.net under ccmal.
I don't get a chance to write stories as much as I used to, as I am focusing on my paid writing.

| Thanks. I'm glad you're enjoying them. I felt the same way. Their relationship was so rushed that we didn't get a good feel for how their relationship changed from friends to romantic interest. It would have been nice to see some more of their trials happen before the wedding and not after.

| Yeah, they went from 1st kiss to engaged the next episode. Not sure how much time was supposed to have elapsed there. It is one thing for us to watch it now, knowing what happens after, but for the original viewers, it would seem something was missing. Although, I suppose one could argue the whole 6th season is a dance of them trying to figure out their feelings for each other.
