| as you may know the The Odyssey ends when
Laura and Albert, , Dylan see the ocean
now this is my fan fiction how got back to walnut grove
remember they had met William Randolph Hearst, she gave money ti Charles so
Charles was able to pay the way home

after the kids had seen the ocean, evey one was
tired, thanks to William Randolph Hearst,
they had mnoney charles had ask mr Hearst could
sleep that night he invited them to what would soon
be known as hearst castle but ' he just called the ranch
===================================================
Charles had sent telegram back to walnut grove to tell
Caroline they are fine -and they would be home in week
-----------------------------------------------------
Mr Hearst had publish Dylan, story in his paper
plus photos the kids got kick of reading about themselves
in the paper
then Charles okay, its time to head for home
Charles is buying the tickets meanwhile[so
the same railroad agent who had gotten in fight with Charles
saw the kids -and started to tell i told you before
i don't like free loaders,
Laura said but sir.. no buts you kids scat before
i get angry , Albert say come on Laura we know when we are licked
just then Charles come around the corner and
says we got first class tickets,
them Mr Hearst shows up -and talking with the conductor
tells he is going to sleepy eye -and had arrange-------- to
attached his own private car to the train
so they get to ride home in style
'at least time we don't have ride in the boxcar
or the caboose says Laura

, Dylan said you rode a caboose once?
well 'sort of' Laura says [ flash back to episode of the runaway caboose ]
wow
then train is traveling east they
mr Hearst tell them of some adventures he had growing up
then each of the tell me Hearst

the train was about 2 hours from sleepy eye
where Dylan says i'm get tired
Dylan close his eyes - about half hour before they arrive Charles
tries to wake Dylan - he gets no response
then he realize Dylan had passed on you could see smile on dylan lips

Laura and Albert said at least he got his wish
he got to see the ocean

they are met a the station by the family

| While I'm glad we didn't get to see Dylan die on the show, it's nice the way you wrapped up this story.
