This is a test post...I tried to get my avator to get on here, but I don't know if it worked....I had to change my sign in name, but I am still LIWfan even though it has a "1" in front of it.......

Some of the old posts may have been lost. This is a completely different forum operating on a new database and server. We will try to recover some of the old posts from the old forum, but this may take some time. Please bear with us as we make the adjustments.

Prairie Talk Community:

My applogies for no warning about this change. The other forum kept poping up with errors all the time, showing banners that did not fit with Little House. I saw some banners that would make Mike turn in his grave. I'm unable to save anything from the previous forum, since this is an entire diffrent server and a diffrent database and program.

If you have any questions about using this forum or wish for me to link an avatar to your name please dont hesitate to reply here or email me at lennon@prairiefans.com. I have also asked Jay from littlehousefans.com to help moderate this forum.

Again, I know this is a change, but I hope you all enjoy it as much as the previous forum, maybe even better. I have lot's of exciting plans for this forum!

Thank you for the explanation and the new forum. I did experience some of the problems you mentioned while on the old forum and am grateful you saw fit to do something about it.
I think it just took most of us by surprise because by nature we seem to be creatures of habit. I know I am.

Can't wait to see what you do with this new forum.

I like the new forum, but since I'm leaving for RI tomorrow I won't get a chance to use it for a week. So all you experts might have to help me with finding my way through it when I get back.

The new forum seems to count posts incorrectly. If you check the LIW section under the topic "trying to complile a complete list of books", it says that 3 posts are all counted as #2 even though the time of the posts is very different.

Hey all! The new forum is very nice, but like a lot of others, I also have to get use to it.

I really hope some of the old discussions will be posted here. Like the forum: U watch too many little house when....
I really liked that one!

I liked the old forum better. I can't even figure out how to use an Avatar on this one. Too difficult to even bother with it.

The number of posts counts each time you post per a forum. If you post in this forum 15 times and post in the Laura Ingalls Wilder forum 4 times it will record 15 for this forum and 4 in the LIW area.

Let me know if this helps.

I hate the fact that our post count goes back to zero, I had more then 200 if I remember correctly.
Is there a control panel in here? I messed up my signature.

The number of post have been changed. It now records all post on any of the boards :)

A profile page is set up too. This will allow you to log in and change your profile info such as avatar and signature and etc.
