| Now that summer has hit I was wondering if anyone knew of any good books to read? I really like Christian fiction. Any suggestions from anyone?

| I have read all of the Left Behind books and they are amazing. I've read Revelations more than once and could never really understand it. These books go through it step by step. It gives you characters who are left behind and are living through the end of times. These books are very addicting. I loved every one of them. I've got my husband reading them now and he loves them.

| The last one of that series the Glorious Appearing was so good. You'll love it. I cried pretty much the whole book. But it was a good cry.

| Laura, you might check out some books by Frank Peretti...they're Christian based fiction...a couple that come to mind are This Present Darkness, and Piercing the Darkness...they're about angels and demons doing battle over humans, but the battle is unseen, and it's supposed to kinda represent the battle that goes on over all of us...they're pretty good reads.

| The Left Behind series and Frank Perretti are great suggestions. Tim LaHaye and Jerry Jenkins who wrote the Left Behind Series started a prequel series which has the same characters in it. There are three books out now: The Rising, The Regime and The Rapture. I haven't read them yet, but my mother-in-law says the first two are just as wonderful as the original series. Since the Chronicles of Narnia came out on DVD I've been meaning to read that series too.
Right now I'm reading Ghost in the Little House by William Holtz, which is a biography of Rose Wilder Lane.

| If you want to read a long book, "Les Miserables" is for you. It has many different characters than from the play but the same main ones. 1,222 pages long and I've read it at least three times. It's great!

THE REST OF THE BOOKS

FEEL THE NEED TO WARN YOU
THAT THEY ARE VERY GRAPHIC..
AND THEY ARE ALL TRUE STORIES.

| Missy
Macey read that "Boy Called 'It'" book twice at school. I think it looked just awful and so sad.
I just can't get in to those really sad books that involve children getting hurt.

| I saw an advert for that book, but I haven't read it yet....I usually read all of Dean's stuff, but usually in paperback. For some reason, his stuff doesn't sell as well in hardback as Steven King does.
