| “Money Crop”

A new farmer, Joe, in Walnut Grove convinces the other farmers to buy seed from him. While he is on the way back to Walnut Grove, he is in an accident and gets trapped underneath the wagon. When Joe doesn't return, the farmers get suspicious that they got in on a bad deal.
This is an interesting episode. I hated how those men acted… they didn’t even give the new guy a chance or think that maybe something must have happened to him… no.. they say the most idiotic things like for example that he left w/ their money and left his pregnant wife. I’m so glad Mary told those men off!
I don’t understand what made the horses start running faster when Joe was coming back to town with the seed. All of a sudden they start running fast, and they don’t listen to his command… does anyone know?
I liked the ending… that HAD to happen… it was only fair to them… I’m glad the men saw how dumb they behaved and planted Joe’s crops. Enjoyed this episode… thumbs up

| I liked this episode too. It was one of those feel good episode. I love the ending how everyone is helping them out.
Not sure what made the horses go faster. Its been a while since I have seen this one. I might just have to rewatch it.

| He was driving downhill, and the wagon was heavily loaded.... Usually, they would apply the brake to slow the wagon on a steep hill like that. His brake broke. Gravity took over, and the wagon accelerated.... The horses would have felt the wagon pushing forward onto them, and they ran to escape the big thing "chasing" them down the hill. The horses no longer controlled the wagon's speed, and their natural flight instinct kicked in....

| Oh I see....
Thanks keziasparrot for the explanation
It's too bad we didn't see more of that family throughout the series. It would have been nice to see the new baby.

| There were a lot of families/individuals that were featured guests whose stories would have made great follow-ups.... If there's any "real" criticism I have of the show, the lack of follow-through would be it....
