Mary is beginning to do worse in school because she has a hard time reading the blackboard. When Mary first gets her new glasses, she really likes them. The other school children begin to tease her. She purposely loses her glasses, until she realizes that her teacher, who wears glasses, has a boyfriend.
 Another one of my favorite episodes. Kids in school can be mean sometimes, I hated it when they made fun of Mary. Nobody would stick up for her, only Laura. Nellie would put crazy ideas into Mary’s head and her being young, it was easy to be influenced by it. I’m glad Ms. Beadle’s boyfriend came around when he did. It was perfect timing… Mary realized how silly she had been feeling, got her glasses and beat Nellie in the history examination. Heehee

| This is one of my favorite episodes too. Its a classic. I loved the moment when Miss Beadles beau came. He really saved the day.

| I liked this episode alot because it showed the character Mary as not so perfect. The character,Mary actually LIED to her Pa. Wow, that was seldom for Mary. As a child, I liked knowing that even the best behaved children made mistakes. Lisa

| The kids were really mean by calling her Four Eyes,especially Nellie and Willie.It breaks my heart when Mary finally tells Charles she can't see the numbers he wrote on her slate.I'm happy he didn't get mad at her when she admitted she hid her glasses and didn't loose them.

| yeah i liked this episode alot and i like the part where Mary realize's it's ok to wear glasses and be different when she see's Mrs.Beal with her beau i am glad it happened that way for Mary cause being picked on isn't fun.does anyone know how to put avatar's on here cause i tried and it didn't work for me?
i love Little House it is the best book and tv series ever. |
