|  Erin Cottrell (Caroline, 2005) is starring in "Love's Long Journey" as the role of "Missy LaHaye." "Love's Long Journey" is the third installment of the Gabriel Award-winning ? and wildly popular --?Love Comes Softly? series by Janette Oke. Michael Landon, Jr. produced the first two movies in this series. "Love's Long Journey" will air on the Hallmark Channel on Saturday December 3, 2005 at 8 PM, 9:45 PM, 11:45 PM central time. It will air one more time on Thursday December 8, 2005 at 8 PM central time. Love's Long Journey will be available on DVD on January 31, 2006.

| Oh boy, can't wait for Janurary. We in Canada don't have the Hallmark Channel so can't watch it there. Is Michael Landon Jr producing this one too! In the last episode Missy was played by the same actress who played Rose from Beyond the Prairie 2, Skye Mc Cole Bartusiak. I guess Michael Jr is carrying on the torch of reusing actors in different roles.
Janette's books are so good. I have met her once, she is from the same church denomination as I am. She visited us in the east one summer. It was great to meet her.

| I missed this movie the first time it was on, but finally got to watch it this week. Erin knows how to bring any part she's in alive. She does so well in pioneer settings. Not every actor can pull this off to make it feel real. I really hope she continues to play the part of Missie. She's put a very beautiful face to a charactor that I've read about as far back as 20 yrs ago. God Bless Janette Oke for her writing talents. We need more shows like this always.

| I loved this movie. If anyone gets the chance to watch it go for it. My boyfriend even admitted to me that he liked it. He didnt really want to watch another one of my shows causeI make him watch little house all the time. 
I hope that they make as many movies as there are books. I also hope that they keep Erin as Missy.

| I have finally seen Long Comes Softly. What a wonderful movie! I love the Love Comes Softly book series so I wasn't sure how I would like the movies. But was I surprised! They were great and I can't wait to watch the rest of them!

| I again watched "Loves long Journey" last night and I believe I caught a small blooper.
Jeff(the boy) had gotten a letter or telegram from his brother, and couldn't read it so asked Missie to---then the next scene Willie brings Jeff home to spend Christmas with them. On Christmas morning he asked if they could open presents--he was able to read the labels just fine. Its only after Christmas that Jeff says that Mrs. LaHaye is teaching him to read.
Its funny what you catch the more you watch something.
This is one movie I can't get tired off though, I hope there will be many more.!!

| I just saw this today and its so great! I love the end when Erin has guy clothes on and aiming the gun at everyone. Dont mess with her! Best one yet in this set!
