| I think Charles was great friends with John Garvey. In my opinion I think his relationship with him was closer then with Mr. Edwards. But remember that's just my opinion.

| Charles was friends with so many people that it would be hard for me to choose. I was sad to see the Edwards family written out of the show, because I loved Michael and Victor together. I liked him with Merlin too, but Jonathan couldn't replace Isaiah for me.
But I also liked to see Charles paired with Doc Baker, Reverend Alden, Mr. Hanson, Nels Oleson. I think the difference between these men and men like Isaiah and Jonathan is that they were townspeople--mostly businessmen. Isaiah and Jonathan could be closer to Charles because they were all farmers, sharing the same concerns.

| I totally agree with Cheryl. Charles had a deeper relationship with Jonathan and Mr. Edwards because of what they had in common. Although there was some good friendship moments with Nels, Doc Baker, and Mr. Hanson. I do have to admit though that Mr. Edwards was my favorite.

| Hmmm, I'm going to go with Jonathan. I think in a way Charles always had to kinda keep an eye on Isaiah...he was generally getting into trouble.
I like the way that they had formed a tight relationship with Charles and Mr. Hanson. In "There's no Place Like Home", I always cry at the end when Mr. Hanson finally gets up and insists on walking to church. Then at the very end Laura tells about him dying. I'm kinda glad that they didn't make an episode with that! That would've been sad.
But, I like the others that were mentioned as well....Nels, Doc, etc....

| I'm leaning more towards Mr. Edwards, but Jonathan is great too! Just too hard, lol!

| I'd have to say Mr. Edwards... and I love the scenes that Nels and Charles had together... they were too funny.

| As already stated by others, Charles had lots of friends but I really think he was closer to Jonathan than the others. Isaiah was a very close second. I enjoyed his relationship with both men.
