| I'm sure many people have already heard that Katherine MacGregor (Harriet Oleson) is wonderful with fan mail, but I just thought I'd say that I sent her a letter no more than two weeks ago, and yesterday, my SASE was in my mailbox! :) In addition to writing the NICEST personal message on the index card I sent, she drew an awesome picture of Harriet yelling NELS!!! and she drew an entire Walnut Grove scene with Nellie and Willie, and signed it. I will treasure it always; I've never known a celebrity who was so nice and caring toward her fans, but it seems like this woman is. What a kindhearted person she truly is! I loved how she drew a picture of Harriet with a huge nose.....she's definitely got a sense of humor!
So, if you're a Mrs. Oleson fan, definitely write to her, and send a SASE with a blank index card if you want a response. I couldn't believe how quick and friendly she was with sending it back! Thank you, Katherine! :)

| Congratulations!! I would love to write to her too, I can add a SASE, but only she would have to go to the postoffice to be able to mail mine. Maybe I should just try.

| You should most definitely try sending. As long as you include a SASE, that's what matters. She's a normal person just like anyone else, and I'm sure she goes to mail stuff all the time, or maybe someone mails them for her.....in either case, you should definitely write to her. It's worth it! :)
I'm still waiting on a response from Richard Bull, too.....I sent an index card. And yes, there is a place on this site to get fan addresses. Go to INFORMATION, then AUTOGRAPH CENTRAL - WRITE TO YOUR FAVORITE LITTLE HOUSE ACTOR. Many of the addresses have been confirmed to be working. I know Katherine and Richard still respond well to fan mail, and last I heard, Eliza Jane and Almanzo do too.

You said you are still waiting for a response from Richard Bull. How long has it been since you wrote to him? Just curious as I sent him a letter on January 10th and am trying to get an idea of how long it takes him to reply to fan mail.

| Hi Paula, sorry I didn't notice your question until now, but I wrote to Richard Bull a few days before Christmas, and now it's mid-February, and I still haven't gotten anything.
The thing is, I wrote to him from a Chicago address, but then I checked the Autograph Central page on prairiefans.com, and it looked like he had a different street name listed for Chicago, so I'm thinking I won't get a response back from him. Did anyone else notice that his street name changed in the listings, or is that just me??
And silly me, I didn't write a return address on my envelope, so I may try writing him again soon.

| Hi Rose,
I'm the one who told Lennon to change the address because not long after I asked you my question my own letter was returned with a note written on the front that his address had changed. It listed the new address so I told Lennon about it.
