| Hi. In what special was Jason sad because his best friend told him he's moving away? I think it was one of the two final movies.

| I consider myself a pretty serious Little House junkie, and a BIG Carter family fan, and I have absolutely no memory of that happening with Jason. Jason's big storyline in "Look Back to Yesterday" was working up the nerve to kiss Amy Bryant, a little girl from school.
You might be thinking of the Season 9 episode "The Last Summer," when Jason befriended the older woman who was dying, and she eventually moved back home?

| I agree with Rose. I think you are referring to the episode The Last Summer. In this episode Jason befriends a lady named Ruthy Leland. They become very close. Ruthy is very sick and dying. I can't remember if she actually dies at the end or if she just moves away but anyway this is why Jason is so sad.

| Doesn't that final scene just warm your heart? LOL, I know that sounds corny, but it really is true. "I got it, Ruthy! I got it!" My mom and I were just watching it, and we were both like, "That is just so CUTE!" Jason was such a sweetheart, and the young actor who played him was a genuine pleasure to watch. I always wished that the Carters had been around a little longer. It's definitely one of the highlight episodes of Season 9, in my opinion.
