Publications of Laura Ingalls Wilder and Book reviews

The "Little House" books have been loved by generations for many years since the first book "Little House in the Big Woods" was released in 1932. Laura had been writing previous for the "Missouri Ruralist" and other magazines, but her real masterpiece would be her early autobiography which she called Pioneer Girl.

Laura could not find a publisher, but rewrote parts of it, with her daughter Rose's help, which became "Little House in the Big Woods." The book was an instant success, and children all over the world begging Laura to tell more stories about Laura and Mary. The result was the Little House books.
